Programs are graded pass/fail. Required activities and the online theory must be completed before clinical. Successful completion of both components earns a Certificate or Statement of Completion, depending on the program.
Online theory is non-refundable after a participant logs into the course. Clinical sessions require significant coordination: PEDEd may welcome 60–100 clients and organize volunteers, nursing staff, instruments, supplies, and venue needs around a full cohort. Changes require at least 45 days' written notice. Students will be moved to a future available date, but timing cannot be guaranteed, and theory plus clinical must be completed within one year. A missed session, cancellation with less than 45 days' notice, or unsuccessful clinical completion requires paid re-registration; the currently listed three-day clinical replacement cost is $995.
Eligible BC nurses may be able to access BCNU bursary support. Complete Canadian programs may include alumni access, a directory listing, and a 10% discount on NSWOCC courses.
